For Professionals

Supervision, Consultation, Speaking

What is clinical supervision?

Professional clinical supervision is support offered from clinician to clinician. It provides three key functions: learning (support with case conceptualization, skills, etc.), support (for stressors of working in the healthcare environment), accountability (compliance of ethical and effective practice).

Supervision is available for dietitians, therapists, medical providers, and others working in health care and supporting clients with eating disorders. Reflective supervision is the standard of ethical care when working with clients presenting with eating disorders.

Clinical Supervision

Michelle will provide guidance on best practices for eating disorder and weight-inclusive health care, and also provide support around your own reactions and feelings about the work you're doing with clients.

Michelle is an iaedp-approved consultant and can assist those pursuing the CEDS credential to meet their supervision requirements.

Fees vary:

$150/hour pay-as-you-go
$1500 package of 12 discounted supervision sessions (popular for those pursuing iaedp CEDS credential)

Case Consultation

Eating disorder treatment and weight-inclusive healthcare are rarely taught in core training of any health discipline. If you are a professional looking to grow your skills in these areas, or need guidance on evidence-based interventions for clients you don’t feel prepared to treat, case consultation can improve your confidence and client outcomes.
